One on One Flexible On Ramp Course (Fundamentals of CrossFit)
Our flexible on-ramp course will teach you the foundational movements of CrossFit which we regularly program into our daily workouts (WODs) on a time schedule that best fits your needs and day. C’mon, you didn’t think we’d just toss you into a CrossFit class to figure out for yourself, did you? The On-ramp classes are 1 hour long and span 6 sessions. We’ll teach you movement standards and safety, nutrition 101, CrossFit lingo, and how to scale movements to your own fitness level. Don’t worry, it’s not all class time. You’ll definitely work up a sweat and get undivided attention during your one-on-one sessions with one of our fantastic coaches.

S.P.I.N.E. - College Student Drop In

S.P.I.N.E: We use these techniques we to bring tension into the connective tissue of the body(fascia) to create space a chosen joint. Considering we live in a world of compression(gravity, exercise, sitting, etc) it is really beneficial to intelligently decompress the spine in a safe and self-selected exercise format. Each posture targets a specific joint (L5-S1, for example) and creates a negative pressure that brings water back into the disc. This improves segmental mechanics, tissue quality, and space for the disc/nerves/vessels. It's tough but you will leave feeling taller and its effects are very transferable/functional.
Myofascial stretching- Muscles are inherently "dumb pieces of meat" that contract when you tell them and take the shape of their respective "leather bag" (fascia). When you stretch the myofascial chain of a particular muscle you improve the quality of the whole chain and pay respect to the descriptive anatomy. These stretches are ACTIVE, self-regulated, and intense but result in improved tissue quality, tension relationships, and joint mobility
